The NBA Playoffs are all but here and all that is left to decide the final four playoff teams are the play-in games with two games in the Eastern Conference and two from the Western Conference.

With the lines having been set for two straight days, bettors have already begun betting and the public betting splits are showing which teams are gaining the most public action.

Starting off the play-in games in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat will host the Atlanta Hawks where the Heat are 5-point favorites. The public has been laying most of the action on Miami with 58.3% of bets to cover the spread and 76% of moneyline bets.

The 226.5 game total is seeing close to even action with 51% of bets on the under. The Heat went 3-1 vs. the Hawks this season and covered a 5-point spread in two of their three wins.

The second of the play-in games is the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves where the Lakers are 7.5-point favorites and taking in the majority of the action. The public is betting 67% of total bets on the Lakers to cover the spread and a massive 89% of bets on them win the game straight up.

The 231-point total is also seeing 60% of over bets as well. The line originally opened up for this game at 5.5 points but moved to 7.5 with the Timberwolves suspending Rudy Gobert for one game as a result of an altercation with Kyle Anderson.

Moving back to the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors are hosting the Chicago Bulls as a 5-point favorite. The spread for this one is close to even with Toronto raking in just 53% of bets, however, they are seeing 62% of moneyline bets.

The point total for the game is set at 215 points with the under taking just 51% of bets. In the three games they met up this season, Toronto is 2-1 and covered 5 points in both of their wins.

The final play-in game in the Western Conference is between the New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pels are seen as a 5-point favorite here, but it’s the Thunder that are seeing the majority of the betting action.

OKC is taking in 53% of bets on the spread and 62% of moneyline bets. The under on the 228.5 point total are also seeing 54% of bets. In the four games that these two played this season, New Orleans went 3-1, however, they went 0-4 against a -5 point spread.
