What a massive week of college football in week 4. Week 3 was without any huge games, but turned out a couple of interesting outcomes. This week we get 6 match-ups between ranked opponents, while also having other games with massive intrigue/conference championship implications.
#4 Florida State at Clemson
The Noles have looked far superior this season as opposed to a very poor start for the Clemson Tigers. However, this looks to be the toughest contest on Florida State’s remaining schedule. Clemson has talent and pedigree but they haven’t put it all together in the last two seasons.
Florida State had a classic look-ahead effort last week, squeaking by Boston College. For Florida State to be the Playoff contender that we believe they are, they need to smoke Clemson. Give me the Noles -2.5.

#19 Colorado at #10 Oregon
This looks to be the one where Colorado won’t be able to out-skill their opponent. The Ducks are very talented on the offensive and defensive lines, and they have a nearly equal quarterback. Bo Nix and Co have lit up the scoreboard this season. It should be an up-and-down game, but Sheduer and the Buffalos will shut up the naysayers if they pull this off. I don’t think so though. Ducks -20.5.

NC State at Virginia

Boise State at San Diego State

#22 UCLA at #11 Utah
The Freshman Phenom for UCLA, Dante Moore is looking the part so far. But, going to Salt Lake City as an 18 year old against the Utes with a returning Cam Rising. SLC has been the graveyard for PAC-12 dreams as of late. Give me the Utes -4.5.
#15 Ole Miss at #13 Alabama
Lane Kiffin and the Rebels have been making some noise about this opportunity this week against Alabama. Mississippi has been one of the very few teams that have been able to get to Nick Saban’s crew. Ole Miss has 4 QB’s on their roster who may be better than Bama can run out there. Rebels 7, sprinkle ML.
#14 Oregon State at #21 Washington State
This game being a ranked matchup is stunning to the casual fan. However, both of these programs had solid years last year, and they have great QB’s, with DJ Uiagalelei for OSU and Cam Ward for Wazzu. I love Ward, and Pullman is a tough place to play. Washington State 3
